Of COURSE I said yes, and being Christmas and all my entire family was there to share! :) If you could see the smile on my face, you'd wonder how on EARTH mine got any bigger, but it did! I love you all, and I'll let you know when other crazy stuff happens. :) God bless, and Merry Christmas!!!

To My Cousin Joe...

Great to hear from him! Not that the rest of you all know who he is, but he's awesome. :) Congrats on the pilot's license! :D:D:D Okay, I'm on page 5 of a ten-pager, and I really should get back to doing that, but the first half only took me about an hour so far! Sweetness! It helps that I found some really good sources and can get away with only using two for the first half and two other ones for the second half. If you'd like to know, I'm doing a report on Islam. The first half is about the religion and culture of the Muslims, and the second half is how to understand them with my background and how to be there to answer questions for them using their own doctrine for much of it. It's a great paper to write, and we each got to pick whichever religions we wanted to. I decided to focus on Islam because I've now taken three and a half classes on it and find if absolutely fascinating, plus it has a lot to do with our modern culture and I'd like to be prepared to deal with that. Wow, it's pretty obvious I'm in the mood for writing papers! Sorry if I rambled on too much or got boring for a second there. If I've been neglecting you, write me an email to my hotmail account, since I check it religiously, and I'll write you back ASAP! Love you!

Busy Week!

Yup, it's the week before finals already! I wrote an 8-page paper last night, I'm answering my study questions for one class tonight, and I figure since I've kept up most of the semester on my homework, I can get away with only doing one assignment per day and two on Saturday! Isn't that exciting!?!? Great stuff, let me tell ya. Other than that, I've been going nearly non-stop (except for a few snoozes) since 7:45 this morning. I had to get up early to print my paper so I could hand it to my professor by 8:00. It was great. Then tonight I got to play french horn as a prelude to the choir/jazz band concert, and I also got to play congas for the last choir song, which for some reason made people laugh when we were finished with it. I played quite fast. :) It was so much fun! I love those things. The school even bought me (well, not me personally, but my travelling team) a set of congas and bongos for me to take travelling with us. I feel special! Guess they like it. Anywho, if you don't see me online much in the next two weeks, it's because of finals pressure. Gotta love it. :) I'll see the people back home on the 22nd! Lata!

Christmas Break and Rent

Plans have changed! I am now coming home on Dec. 22nd and leaving on Jan. 7th or so. I've got something I want to be in town for on the 6th possibly, and I don't want to only go to John's house for a week at the end of break, so we're doing a week at his parent's to hang out with his missionary friend who's only gonna be there until the 26th, go to my place for two weeks and a couple days, then go back to his place for the last week of break. I'm kinda happy about that, actually, since now I'll be home for New Years, though what I'm doing, I'm not sure. I think I may go hang out with my high school friends since I didn't do that last year and actually kinda missed it. J All this is, of course, highly dependent on the weather.

Oh, and I saw Rent last night. I actually really liked it. It was so…inner city, and how the world really is. I can't say I agree with most of what was in it, but it gave me a lot to think about. I would recommend seeing it to anyone who isn't easily offended. If you don't know what it's about or what could be so…controversial about it, email me or something and I'll let you know. There's also one scene where one of the girls is dancing, and I will warn you, she's not wearing much at all. Mixed company may be uncomfortable for some of you. But I liked it, and I think I'll own it when it comes out. Have a good one!
