An Interesting Development...
For most of you I haven't had the chance to tell yet, I'm officially a drummer. Talk about being WAY out of my comfort zone! I'm the lead singer for a travelling youth worship team, and we've as of yet been unable to find a drummer, so our acoustic player was going to jump-in every now and again. Well, he was basically awful enough I didn't want to hear him even attempt to play again, so just to mess around I jumped on the set for a song, and we spent and hour playing it. It sounded GREAT! It's all God, I know, because I can't play drums, but I'm officially the drummer for Chosen. Wow...talk about being stretched! Other than that, I have a convention this weekend that I get to be on a worship team and play congas and french horn in front of nearly 1000 people on Thursday and Friday. I feel so blessed that God is using me in worship! :) We leave for Minneapolis in just a couple hours now. I'll let you know how it goes! I also got up an hour and a half early to go to breakfast this morning so I could see John before I leave. Guess I got it bad. ;) We come back from the convention on Friday, and Friday night John and I are heading out to Rapid City, SD so I can meet his parents. I'm soooo looking forwad to it! Have a very blessed weekend. I'll be back on Monday night if I can't get online at all before then.
