May Term

Yup, that's right! I'm not coming home until the END of May. Okay, so I'm slightly depressed about that, but there's good news, too! That means I'll get to come home next year and BE DONE WITH SCHOOL ON TIME!!! Yup--I'll graduate next May. Of course that means my life is shot for the next year--I get a month less for summer break, a week and a half less for Christmas break, and I have to overload my next two semesters to 21 credits each, but I think it's worth it. Right now I just want to not be here anymore. Lol! Okay, so I'm going back to work now. Sorry for the light posting...not like anyone ever checks my blog anymore anyways. :) So if you're here, I love you!

Homework!

Of course, I have a LOT of homework to do in the next month! I don't know how much I'm looking forward to doing that, but not to worry--I'll get it done. :) I get to come home soon! It's one of the greatest feelings in the world when the library due date stays the same for the rest of the semester--we have a one-month check-out policy, so when there's a month or less of school left, everything is due the last day of clases. :) Working at the library, I always notice when that change it. And it happened already!!! Our last day of testing is May 5th. :) I can't WAIT to come home again! But the homework comes first. Nothing too hard--just a whole lot of busywork. I'm thinking about going to a state park about an hour and a half a way for a day just to do my homework somewhere else. Good luck to everyone else who has a lot to do!

For Arriz...

This post is going to be a bit about me! I love gaming, reading, singing, camping, rocks, biking, talking to friends, and dogs. ;) I'm a Christian girl who loves her Jesus...and I go to school at Trinity Bible College in North Dakota. I have a twin sister who is my best friend, even though we're nearly complete opposites. :) It's great fun! Hmm...I'm supposed to name some of the games I play, huh? This is in no way a comprehensive list!!! My online games that I've been getting into are Londinivm and Torn City...both are very fun so far! As far as computer games, I basically am currently playing just one--Baldur's Gate 2, which is loads of fun! I wish I could play World of Warcraft, because that game ROCKS, but I have to wait until I'm out of school when our IP addys aren't all intertwined or something. On Gamecube, my favorite game is Tales of Symphonia...GREAT game, by the way. For PS1 it's gotta be PoyPoy, even though I don't have it. N64 leaves no choice--Perfect Dark by far! Super Nintendo--I'd have to say Super Mario (I know...it's easy to beat, but hey! I love it!). Those are all the systems I have, though I used to have a Sega Genesis (go Sonic!!!). I also like playing pretty much any RTS game (for you non-gamers, that's real-time strategy games where you build a civilization and go to war in a nut shell). Hmm...I'm out of time! I'll have to write about my family and friends in my next post. :) There you go, Oscar! :)

Sahara: A SHORT Review

Okay, I just wrote this really long review on Sahara the movie, but I don't feel like doing that all over again. This time my computer got messed up and everything disappeared on me. Anyways--I basically said it's a hilarious movie, I don't care for Penelope Cruz, but Matthew and Steve make up for it with their incredibly funny duo, and the plot line isn't bad. If you expect an awesome movie, wait for the budget cinemas, but otherwise it's a perfect way to spend a little money. Rachel and I are gonna buy it whenever it gets out on video. We had never seen a preview for it, but we like Matthew McConaughey enough to watch anything he's in at least once. It's definitely a movie worth a matinee price! I don't know if anyone else actually found it funny, but the rest of the theater was laughing because Rachel and I were. There's quite a bit of subtle humor in it. :) So enjoy it!

Banquet Tonight!

I guess I don't really know how excited I am to go! :) It's not like there's a dance or anything afterwards. And there's a speaker...we'll see how it goes! But I'm gonna have the best-dressed date there! He rented a tux and everything--and he's black! Talk about good fun! I'm wearing my prom dress (yes, it still fits!!!) and I think it looks even better on me now. :) Just a tip of the day, for anyone who didn't know, the Brian from Backstreet Boys is cutting a solo Christian album soon. :) He just released his first Christian radio cut with "Still the Cross" I think--it's something to do with the cross, but I don't remember which one. Anyways, I thought that was just AWESOME! Okay, I'm going to go get ready now. Later!

A Short Story

I wrote a short story the other day that I will be posting soon. I hope you like it. My professor loved it and...to my slight embarrassment...read it out loud. Which normally wouldn't embarrass me at all, except it was freehand writing that we did during class and didn't get a chance to edit. There were a few things I would have changed a bit--but I'll do that for you. :)

Okay, I just did this...

I'm out of time! I just posted and it didn't post, but I basically just said I'd change my color scheme when I get the chance. Let me know what you're interested in so I can write on it! I'll even do research for you guys. ;)

Okay, Okay!

:) When I have a little more time, I'll switch my color scheme. :) So...what do you want me to write about??? Let me know!!
